Rogue Legacy is a Rogue-Lite game for PC which combines both action and RPG. While playing, you will take the role of the hero you choose and will be able to explore a castle that will be randomly generated in each level. For that reason, in Rogue Legacy you will be able to play only once in the same scenario. There you will find monsters or strange creatures but also treasures.

The interesting point of this action game is that each new character is a descendant of a previous one. This way, your hero will always be relieved in order to fulfill the mission. In Rogue Legacy there are 8 types of characters available like the paladin or the barbarian, among some others. Every character has its own skills as well as its own deficiencies. Some of them might be blind while others may suffer from dwarfism or other illnesses. In this game there is a large variety of genetic deficiencies which will test your abilities while playing with your character.

Gameplay

At the same time you are moving through the levels, completing missions and finding treasures, you will be able to earn money. This way, you can use your reward to improve your own castle and unlock abilities or new character types. In addition, you can buy weapons or permanent skills for your hero. However, Rogue Legacy also offers another interesting possibility: you will be able to visit a magician and pay him to lock the dungeons of your enemies.

Your ultimate mission will be to defeat the five leaders of the final dungeon, but you will need to be strong enough to do it. Hopefully, if your character dies, your descendant will inherit the skills and improvements you had acquired.
